The Real Polygamy as Mentioned in the QURAN

Memang betul poligami tu hukum Allah, tapi setakat mana saudara dan spesis2 saudara faham akan maksud hukum ALLAH? Adakah antara di antara saudara yang sudah memeriksa kandungan AL-QURAN, ambil tahu apa yang ALLAH bicarakan tentang poligami?

Mari saya bawakan ayat tersebut ya saudara-saudari sekalian.

POLIGAMY hanya disebutkan dalam surah AN-NISA

4: 1. O people! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you.

4: 2. And give to the orphans their property, and do not substitute worthless (things) for (their) good (ones), and do not devour their property (as an addition) to your own property; this is surely a great crime.

4: 3. And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course.

4: 4. And give women their dowries as a free gift, but if they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it, then eat it with enjoyment and with wholesome result.

Please read the above ayaat from 1 until 4 and let me explain to you the context of these ayaat and also the polygamy that is mentioned there.

God says,

If you fear that YOU CANNOT ACT EQUITABLY TOWARDS ORPHANS, then marry such women......, 2, 3 and 4

- Any individual who can read will understand this ayat clearly without further translation. Poligamy is only allowed when orphans are involved!

But what happen in the world today esp in the Muslim world?

The religious people a.k.a MEN simply ignore this - “And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans” - and only mention “Kahwinlah kamu 2, 3 dan empat…..” to justify their sexual needs! How does that make sense?

"Oh, a man's sexual drive is really high! So, you can't blame a guy for marrying more."
How in God's world does that justify polygamy? Well, it doesn't!!

Al-QURAN adalah pelengkap segala hukum. I think everyone knows that. Don’t all that are mentioned in the QURAN complete the polygamy hukum already? IF AND ONLY IF ORPHANS are involved, and because you are afraid that you cannot do just towards them, maka baru lah boleh kahwin lebih dari satu.

There is even a warning by ALLAH!

4:129. Ye will not be able to deal equally between (your) wives, however much ye wish (to do so). But turn not altogether away (from one), leaving her as in suspense. If ye do good and keep from evil, lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthal's Quran Translation

ALLAH sudah warning. 'Kamu tak akan berupaya berlaku adil' because He knows how humans are! He sets that warning so that MEN/GUYS/BLOKES would really really consider heavily before marrying another one even if his intention is ONLY to take care of an orphan!

TAPI APA SUDAH JADI SEKARANG?

Lelaki kahwin lebih dari satu kerana………

1) NAFSU SEKS LELAKI MEMANG TINGGI, SO KALAU MERANTAU KENA LA KAWIN LAGI. APA TU - MISYAR!

2) PEREMPUAN TU MUDA DAN CANTIK, BAIK PULAK TUH. MANA TAHAN.

3) ISTERI AKU DAH TUA AND CEREWET

4) AKU DAH TAK SAYANG KAT ISTERI, TP SAYANG SI DIA

5) AKU KAYA, AKU MAMPU, AKU KISAH APA

6) AKU BERZINA KARANG, HA! MANA KO NAK?

7) EH, BINI KENE DIAM2 EH. LAKI BLEH KAWIN 4 OK.

8) DAH NABI KAWIN SAMPAI 9, AKU BLEH LA KAWIN 4. KENE IKUT SUNNAH

Strangely, we so rarely hear, "Aku kahwin lagi sebab nak jaga hak anak yatim..." yet that is what is mentioned in the QURAN. I guess I am not surprise. This world (especially Islamic world) is controlled by chauvunist men (go google what it means).

And there are thousands of unimaginable reasons given by THESE CHAUVINIST MEN to justify their acts. How is this called JUSTICE?

Please look at the statistics in Malaysia especially, how many women were abused and ignored mentally and physically when the husbands decided to polygamy? How many husbands not treating the wives FAIRLY? How many women are FORCED to accept polygamy in the name of ISLAM?

Women are criticized heavily if we oppose polygamy because kononnya polygamy is supposedly a gate to enter ‘heaven’. But did they take into account the suffering (trauma, mental stress, heart-broken, disappointment, emotional pain, sometimes even pyhsical abuse) that a woman has to go through? Compare that with the number of polygamy families that live happily after after.. ( I do admit that there are some families who remain happy). Good for them.

So, please read the QURAN and check for yourself. ALLAH doesn’t put POLYGAMY alongside with "HOW TO TAKE CARE OF ORPHANS" in one sentence without any reasons. I invite all of you to STUDY THE QURAN. ALL our answers and doubts can be found there, insyaAllah.

It is when HUMANS take only what they want to suit their political, sexual, and other needs, the problems and sufferings begin to appear.

God Condems Sects (Sunni, Shiite, Ibadhi, Farrakhi, etc)

All sects in Islam, whether Sunni, Shias, Ahmaddis, Ismailli……etc have disagreements about hadith and sunnah attributed to the prophet. However, these same sects have no disagreements about the Quran.

It is sources of religious law, stories, conjecture, etc. outside the Quran which have created these sects. At the end of this article three “authentic” hadith have been produced about the last sermon of the prophet. The different versions/conjecture gave rise to sects. Nation of Islam, a large political group for African American, although have achieved a great political gain for the African Americans in the USA, they produced their own sources other than the Quran and follow other sources besides the Quran for religious laws.

This is completely codemned in the TRUE Islam. Many of the followers of the Nation of Islam however are more acceptable to the TRUE Islam (Submission) when they get exposed to it as most of them are well educated and intelligent. Like all the other sects as soon as the followers of the Nation of Islam decide to follow ONLY the word of God in the Quran for religious law and leave the words of man for political moves, they will find the truth and be guided. These sects of Islam ( Sunni, Shias, Ahmaddis, NOI….etc.) do exactly the same thing - they follow sources and religious scholars, instead of the Quran.

[6:159] Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything they had done.

[30:32] (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have.

[42:14] Ironically, they broke up into sects only after the knowledge had come to them, due to jealousy and resentment among themselves. If it were not for a predetermined decision from your Lord to respite them for a definite interim, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the later generations who inherited the scripture are full of doubts.

Even the last sermon of the prophet witnessed by the thousands has three different versions, it is no wonder that ahadith are not reliable after all. The versions are listed below.

1) I leave with you Quran and Sunnah Muwatta, 46/3

2) I leave with you Quran and Ahl al-bayt. Muslim 44/4, Nu2408; ibn hanbal 4/366; darimi 23/1, nu 3319.

3) I leave you for the Quran alone you shall uphold it. Muslim 15/19, nu 1218; ibn Majah 25/84, Abu dawud 11/56.

Because the majority of the Muslims follow conjecture (hadith and sunnah) instead of Quran alone (17:46) as our Creator has commanded, the “Muslims” are divided into sects. These sects are there because of differences and disagreements on Hadith rather
than disagreements over the Quran.

A Review of Lawful Food

THE MEAT OF NON-MUSLIMS CAN BE EATEN

“Since Allah did not prohibit it, the food of the Jews and the Christians is permitted to you on the basis of the original permissibility of things, and likewise you can share your food with them. Accordingly, you can eat the flesh of the animals they have slaughtered or hunted, and they can eat what you have slaughtered or hunted.”

“The application of the phrase, [part of the verse of the Quran, 5:5] ‘the food of those who were given the Scripture,’ is general and includes their meats, produce, and other foods. All of these are halal for us excepting what is haram in itself, e.g., the flesh of a dead animal, pork, and flowing blood, as these are haram regardless of whether they are obtained from a Christian, a Jew or a Muslim. “

“If one does not hear from a Christian or a Jew that a name other than Allah’s such as that of Jesus or a saint, was mentioned at the time of slaughter, the meat he offers is halal. If, however, he says that a name other than Allah’s has been mentioned, it is haram, according to the opinion of some jurists who argue that it falls under the heading of what has been dedicated to other than Allah. Some others hold the opinion that the food of the People of the Book has been permitted to us by Allah, Who is aware of what they say when slaughtering an animal.”

“…we know that imported meats, such as chicken and canned beef, originating with the People of the Book are halal for us, even though the animal may have been killed by means of electric shock or the like. As long as they consider it lawful in their religion, it is halal for us. This is the application of the above verse from Surah al-Maidah.” (Sheikh Qaradawi is referring to Quran 5:5)

"He only prohibits for you the eating of animals that die of themselves (without human interference), blood, the meat of pigs, and animals dedicated to other than GOD. If
one is forced (to eat these), without being malicious or deliberate, he incurs no sin. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful." [2:173]

"Today, all good food is made lawful for you. The food of the people of the scripture (Jews & Christians) is LAWFUL (HALAL) for you......" 5:5

5:5. “This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.” – Pickthal Translation
